Who we are

Sindee is the Chagga word spoken at the start of every great journey. Before the first step on Kilimanjaro, before the Land Cruiser rolls onto the Serengeti plains, before the dhow leaves the Stone Town harbour — someone says sindee. Let's go.

We are Chagga, the people of Kilimanjaro. We have guided this mountain for five hundred years. Now we guide Tanzania.
